Girls and boys lacrosse are a lot different from each other. Boys lacrosse is a contact sport and you get hit all the time. Girls lacrosse is non-contact. In boys lacrosse there are 20 people on the field; 3 attack, 3 defense, 3 mid-d, and a goalie. In girls lacrosse there are more positions and 22 people on the field; first home, second home, third home, left and right attack wings, center, left and right defense, point, cover point, third player, and goalie. There is more equipment in boys lacrosse because it's a contact sport. The equipment includes full helmet, mouth guard, torso pads, elbow pads, thick gloves and, a pole. The equipment in girls lacrosse is cage goggles, mouth guard, gloves and, a leather laced pole.
